Day 7 | Chase Oney
Well today was great we started with a good morning worship with the whole group and all of the Haitians! After that we all loaded up and went to the house to the dedication. Which went awesome Randy started it off by praying for the house and the family. Then my dad done great job giving the sermon and reading some scriptures! Also the family gave a speech and thanked us so much and just ttaled about how thankful they were. We loaded back up and went back to the compound and some and the first timers went to the market but the rest of us stayed back to meet our kids. All of the kids showed and we all got to play with and give them our gifts which was awesome! We got to eat lunch at the Mt. maid and was really good and got some ice cream and that was a nice treat. Then comes the sad part getting packed up which was not great im really gonna miss this place and all of the great friends I have made and working with the group. I really hope in two years I will be back right here in this spot working for God and making memories with great friends! I hope everyone says a prayer for us for safe trip home as well as the group coming and there week ahead of them! Thank you all for have been keeping up with us and praying for it really means a lot!! Also please pray for Baptist Haiti Mission they really need it right now as well. This was my second trip to Haiti and they just keep getting better I want to thank and praise God for blessing me again and keeping me and the group safe!! Even though my group team “TEAM MOM’’ wasn’t hear with me Mark and Emerson they were greatly missed!!

Day 6 | Chase Oney
Today was another great day 6 kids were saved at VBS it was awesome!! There were probably 75 kids there today which was okay cause we could work with them more have for individual time with them! Them kids are just so amazing they just make you so happy inside. You wouldn't believe how happy they get by just stopping and giving them a little bit of your time thats it. They dont need a brand new toy or the brand new game out all they need is for you to stop and play with them! I wish thats all we could do some times but we do have to work some so you have to tell them no every now and then which is not fun. Speaking of work me and dad and loyd finished up the metal supports today and the hurricane windows as well which was pretty fun. i have learned a lot on mason work so thats always good! I hate that today was our last day of work i really didn't think i was gonna miss working here that much but i am! I wish i could stay for the second week and work im really gonna miss everyone here but hopefully God willing we will be back in two years with more new people ready to serve God!! Please pray for the people that are still feeling bad there were some that felt better today so thanks for praying for us means a lot!!

Sorry to stay on this topic but we played a lot ball today if you can imagine. Well back to the house i got to do a lot in the house with the stucco and sand the stucco that got tiring. Day 3 | Chase Oney
Today was pretty sweet this morning instead of having to take the truck to the church i got to ride the big red there with jonny and randy andand another worker. i was little nervous at first to ride in side by side with jonny but he actually done a good job. When we were going oaths trail i was thinking i can't believe the bring a dump truck down this and was very thankful i was in that side by side! We got to the church and started working. Me and randy framed out the windows and then after that we made one of the main seems with dad and mickey and papaw. Once we got that done it was time for lunch. After lunch we started the VBS and that was pretty cool there was kids pouring in left and right we had right over 100 at the end. i was in charge of the games i was little nervous at first but it went good! i had them do limbo first and that went good they all wanted to go at the same time so that made it a little hard. Then i went to duck duck goose and that was a SUCESS fir sure the loved that. There was big kids coming in from everywhere and playing too. I played as well and they ran the guts of me i guess they thought it was fun to watch the fat white guy run cause they all died luaghing!! It was like this with every group too so i was exhausted at the end. I went to get water soon as we were done and we were out haha but it was great day overall it was a lot fun. Got to see God working in the VBS and all the people they were so thankful for what they got today!! We have church tomorrow at 6:30 and then i aint sure but im sure it will be great!

Day 13 | Chase
Well today started pretty good there wasn’t a ton of chaos because we were spilt up in two groups. I was in the second group so I worked the morning. We just finished up the roof on the ark. Also got some of the braces and supports up. Then the sand arrived as we were leaving to go to the market which made me happy because there was a bunch of sand. Well we were spilt up again at the market. We had two interpretors jonny and zeppy my group had zeppy he was pretty cool. The market is crazy people were everywhere and meat and fish with flies all over it was a new experience for sure. I would hate to have to buy my food like that every day. There was some cool stuff to though I didn’t take pictures because they said that it could cause a riot so its hard to explain it all. I did buy some mangos so that was kinda cool, but then we done a little exploring they showed us where the people started at with all there stuff at 1:00 in the morning to get to the market to sell and we also went to the bread bakery which was pretty cool how they made it and was really good too. Then we headed back to the homestead and wouldn’t ya know it the sand was still there so we got to shoveling it where it needed to be but it got done so that’s all that mattered. There was kids everywhere I mean everything had a kid on it was awesome to see there faces and to show them to use a slide and swings it was worth the hole trip to see that. It has been cool to watch how God work through this week with everything it was really cool and happy to see and hear later on what this will do for Haiti and God!

Well me and him got stuck cleaning up logs and moving them out of the area for where there planting flowers. Then we got put back on the ark because we got that finished fast. Well altogether really there was a lot done and its coming together it really looks good. There is so many people showing up and watching kids are so excited its nice seeing people just dying to come play. Day 11 | Chase
Well today started a little earlier then normal. Most of us got up around 5:30 to get ready for church. It was defiantly a new experience for me. There was a whole lot more people then what I figured and they were all dressed very nicely. Singing is a very big thing they sing a lot and pray for a very long time also. There was a group of girls that sang and they were awesome there was only a couple of words that i knew they said but it was beautiful. After church we came and had brunch. Then we were off on what they called a hike!! Wrong answer it was rock climbing over waterfalls but it was amazing. The guy that took us is jonny he is awesome and he just ran threw everything it was crazy what we went threw. At first I would of told you your crazy if you think im going up that but I did with rest of everyone. Some of us made it to the 4th one that was as far as jonny would let us go. Even if we wanted to go there was no way any of us could have made it without gear or something but jonny can go right up it. The stuff that we were on we were crawling up on all fours and the Haiti were walking up with water on there heads. I have a knew thing for people around here its call A LOT OF RESPECT. I had a great day that was probably coolest thing I have done. I would come back here just to that again. Another the places we were climbing this is also where people had there gardens I have no idea how they even stay standing to do anything with it. I had great day again hopefully we will finish the ARK tomorrow!!
