Day 7 | Bill

Well group one’s week has came to an end. There was a lot of emotion today and it was positive. The youth who made a financial commitment to support a child in school for $25 a month got to meet their child today. It was a powerful moment. So many of our youth made that commitment and my heart was full of excitement and wonder. Very emotional! Some of my veteran mission team members, Tyler, Logan, Russell, were not happy campers that they are leaving and the project is not done. This is the first time since they have been coming with me that they did not get the chance to finish the project. It did not sit well with them. We have had such an awesome week together. Today they also went bartering at the market. They had a lot of fun with that. Some were not very good and others were pros. I have seen a change in some of the youth and adults since being here and I can see God moving in their lives. The mission field does not end when they leave here, it is only the beginning. The week has flown by and now it’s time for them to leave( 7am in the morning) and the next group to arrive. We still have a lot of work to do next week and we could use your prayers. Pray for the one’s traveling home and keep the driver’s in your prayers.

  1. It is so nice to read all the posts and hear all the different emotions about work, people and God. It truly sounds amazing! So glad that everything has gone so well and I know that you put many hours into this trip prior to even getting there and that planning can't even begin to prepare you for the blessings you and the others are experiencing. Home is still standing and the pool is still clear so I guess that bottle of algae eater is working good! LOL. Take care and know that I am praying for continued safety and formGod to speak through all of you! Love You and Miss You!,
