Day 9 | Bill

Day one with the new group went great. We got the big slide up and all the boards on the boat. The tetertodder has been all chiseled out and we got the second platform made for the little slides. We only have one more sign to make and then we can start painting them. The group worked very hard today and they look tired. No clouds today, just heat. We had a major storm yesterday before the second group arrived, we were in the clouds and it was thundering. Very loud! Tomorrow we will begin to weave 2 more cargo nets and put together the swinging bridge as well as start to paint the signs. We still have a lot of work to do. This may be an early night as I look around the room and see people sleeping already. Bron, thank for the encouragement and updates on the pool( we know how important that is). To all of the group one team, keep praying for us and keep checking us out on the web site. Glad you all made it home safe and can’t wait to see everyone on the 21st for our presentation. Love ya bron and tell the boys hello. For all of my assassin players, travis lucas won the game last night. He killed everyone off.

  1. Sorry about the pool comment, but I just wanted you to know that after you worked so hard to get it ready for us before you left I have not turned it green or bubbly. Glad to hear "Team Decent" (I have been told to refer to them as this by "Team Perfect" members) have jumped right into loving the work and the people just where the first group left off. Prayers keep coming your way and I am anxious to see pictures and hear more stories of ministry, and also maybe the "rest of the story" on some I have already heard.
    Love you and Miss you!!!!!

  2. Just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you know that Courtney and I are following your progess! Everything is looking great and we're enjoying your blogs. Thanks again for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful project. We are forever changed. Also if you go on the hike tomorrow the backwards bear crawl works the best. I learned that from team perfect and it worked well. You might want to wear your work gloves so the fire ants don't bite you!!!
