Day 1 | Kelsie
It has been a great experience so far! The trip down felt like only a few hours to me because I slept most of the van ride, usually the vans are crazy and loud, but I was very happy to have a van that was quiet and slept a lot too! I also slept most of the plane ride to, even slept through the turbulence and the puking incident everyone has been talking about. I was honestly a little scared to go through customs, but it wasn’t near as bad as I thought it’d be. I now know that I could never be able to drive here, it is nothing like I have ever seen or could imagine! The sights and smells made me realize just how lucky I am to have what I have and to have a nice home to go back to. I still feel like I’m just watching the history channel or a movie, that I’m not really here. I’m ready to work tomorrow and pray the weather is like it was today, because it wasn’t very hot! And if mom is ready this, please send some knee length skirts with Emerson, Ashley or Rachel for me if they wouldn’t mind!! Love you mom and dad and miss you already!! But I’m safe and having fun!!
