Day 5 | Cheryl
Eric just read all of our messages to us. Thank you to every one who sent Court and me messages over the last few days. (Sam, Josh, Mammaw, Pappaw, Jen, Jean and Stevie G). We are still working on the playground. The ark looks great! Tomorrow we will travel to the market just like the Haitians do. I think it will be a great experience so we can better relate to them. When we return we will continue working. I can’t believe we only have two days left. Everything I was worried about has been so much better than expected. I’m so glad I came. The weather has been beautiful!!! No HOT days, warm showers, and a wonderful cook. Unfortunately I don’t believe I lost the few pounds I was hoping for lol. Just wanted to say that even though I don’t attend GBC they have treated my daughter and I just like family. I am so glad Gina and Quinn invited us. Thank you for all the blogs and especially the prayers. See everyone soon-we should be home Friday morning. Make sure to check out all the videos on the website as well.

Good Morning Cheryl! I am so proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and see what God is capable of doing. Can't wait to see you and Court Friday, but want you to enjoy your final 2 days there to the fullest. It is 7:47am on Tuesday, Josh and I are leaving at 8:30 for Kennywood today, he's pumped (don't worry Jen is taking care of Miss Kayley!). He loves the baby birds hidden in the bushes, keeps checking on them. Continue to love and serve the Haitian people, luv ya!!!
